@Phil - Final Concept Art
The Breakdown would be the same as on the previous versions of the painting, with the sky and buildings behind the rear monorail being the matte painting, and the rest being 3D Modelled.
two further things then: 1) I think it wold help if the matte painting towers were a touch taller and 2) the more organic buildings in the centre just feel as if they need a bit more detailing to make them read as architecture as opposed to 'standing stones' or similar. What do you think?
